HISTORY
Bagong Barrio National High School - Annex is a very young institution. Only on its fourth year of operation since it started in school year 2011-2012 yet, is hopeful of becoming one of the giant institutions in the city when it comes to educational leadership. Aspiring to achieve its independence from the mother school in the coming years, the school looks forward to more opportunities for improvement - physical and academic.

This plan is strategized prioritizing the most essential needs of the students, teachers, and the school community as a whole. With the convergence of the efforts of the stakeholders the hopes and dreams that the DepEd vision, mission, and the goals of the school is just within each one's reach.

The members of the school planning team are the President of the School Faculty Club - Master Teacher Mrs. De Lapaz Y. Retirado, Supreme Student Government President Janice Pinto, Property Custodian, Mr. Juvey A. Siddik, Adviser/EBEIS/Registrar, Mr. Arnaldo C. Relator, General Parent - Teachers President, Mr. Roberto Manalo/ Mr. Hernane Guerrero, and Barangay Chairman Hon. Michael R. Briva/ Nelson Nazareno, led by Teacher-In-Charge Mrs. Carla P. Garcia.
Mandatory expenses for the utilities (electricity, water, and telephone) are paid using the MODE through the Mother School. Office supplies and cleaning detergents are being supplied by the Mother School also.

When the Teacher-In-Charge started working on the establishment/recognition of BBNHS-Annex as a new school, the necessary documents necessary in the process were requested from the Division Office at Caloocan and the Local Government Unit. It has been found out that the transfer of the title from the former owner has not been done. The incumbent General Services Office of the LGU headed by Attorney Liezel Villanueva provided the school a copy of the Certificate of Land Title of the school site, which is still in the name of Yu Hwa Ping.

The Schools Division Superintendent, Mrs. Rita E. Riddle under the New Rationalization Plan of the Civil Service, has assighned a person who will take charge of the procurement of the required title.
The School is very hopeful that the recognition/establishment of Bagong Barrio National High School-Annex as a new school is on the way. This school year, it is identified as a Senior High School site under the new curriculum K-12 Program. Preparations are underway in time for the next school year opening. The following tracts as approved by the DepEd are to be offered: General Academic (GA) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMMS)
